• COURSE SELECTION: Ensure that students select high school courses that align with prospective academic interests 
• STUDY SKILLS: Provide students with strategies to improve grades based on recent research. Direct them to tutors and online resources if needed. 
• EXTRACURRICULARS: Identify and recommend extracurricular and summer activities, including research and internship opportunities. Create a resume of activities. 
• TESTING: Discern whether ACT, SAT, or test optional makes the most sense for the student. Create a testing timeline. Discuss which scores to send to colleges. 
• SCHOOL LIST: Create and refine a balanced list of colleges based on students’ needs and desires
• EARLY DECISION/EARLY ACTION OPTIONS: Determine which admissions strategies are most beneficial regarding whether to apply Early Decision, Early Action, Restricted Early Action, or Regular Decision
• EXTENSIVE ESSAY ASSISTANCE: Assist with brainstorming, drafting, and editing of  personal statement and all additional supplemental essays required by individual universities to create memorable and compelling compositions
• RECOMMENDERS: Encourage students to foster relationships with teachers, and ascertain which teachers to select for letters of recommendation
• COLLEGE VISITS/INTERVIEWS: Plan college visits, and conduct mock interviews with students to prepare them
• TIME MANAGEMENT/DEADLINES: Break down tasks into manageable components, and manage the timeline for completing all aspects of the applications
• ACCEPTANCE DECISIONS: Evaluate offers of admission as well as develop a strategy for waitlist and deferral decisions
